I now import my own supply of Jamila brand henna from Pakistan. I have found this powder to be free of impurities, fresh, and above all triple sifted so it never clogs up. 

It also gives outstanding long lasting colour. 

It is packaged in 100 gram boxes. I find I can make about 18 cones of paste from one box and each cone will make around 20 small designs. Or if you want to make complex designs on both hands or feet, one cone of paste will do. It goes quite a long way and is very economical despite the fact that it costs a little more than other powders. Besides, you never have to spend tedious hours sifting, and ending up with a third of your powder unusable.

In response to a growing demand for reliable henna information, I have written a booklet  with photos explaining in detail how to prepare and mix the paste, how to construct cones and how to apply the paste to produce beautiful body art.
